Mr M. Ramachandran is appointed as a Registered Manager/Head of Care of Romis Care Services, who is a good character and has been working in the Health and Social Care industry for 20 years and has the necessary qualifications, competence, skills, and experience to manage the carrying on of the regulated activity, and has physical and mental health in line with the requirements of the role.

“I, Martin Ramachandran, am currently working as a Registered Manager/Head of Care and previously worked as Registered Manager/Director for Romis Care Services for around 6 years. I have successfully completed the following qualifications during my career in health and social care:”
  • Bachelor’s degree in History
  • Senior Leader Management Level 7, working towards (2025)
  • Achieved QCF Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management
  • Achieved NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults)

In addition to the above-mentioned qualifications, I have also completed several Level 2 and other social care-related training courses.

I have about 20 years of experience working at various levels of roles and responsibilities. My experience in social care included working with children, young adults and elderly adults, all presenting a wide range of associated mental and physical disabilities, assisting them in the daily care and management of their lives and supporting them in activities designed to encourage and motivate them. I have extensive experience in this sector, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the personal dignity of clients at all times. I have worked with adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia, mood disorders, probation needs, substance abuse, arson, eating disorders, child abuse history, epilepsy, Asperger’s syndrome, and both verbal and non-verbal communication needs.
